FAQS

Q1. What happens in a Meyers Voice Master Class?
A. There are two parts:
WORKSHOP
For the first 30 minutes the Meyers explain voice production and work with the entire group to show them in a direct, hands-on manner how to correctly manage breath control, phrasing, equalization of vowels, focus of tone, expansion of range, etc. The Meyers are very specific. They do not just say: "Use more support!" They explain exactly what support is and how to improve it. Everyone who wants to, may join in the exercises to improve their mastery of these skills.

MASTER CLASS
In the second part of the class five or six solo singers who have been selected in advance on the basis of a CD or tape sent to the Meyers, sing their solos and the Meyers make suggestions as to how they could improve their singing as well as interpretation.
